Integrating theory and research on structural racism and social justice into evaluator preparation

چکیده
This chapter discusses the relevance and role of structural racism equity, critical race theory, social justice perspectives in evaluation. We also suggest opportunities for formally educating next generation evaluators about ways to identify address these topics practice. One our field can remediate a long history relegating importance is by revamping evaluator training with expanded pedagogy that includes self-reflection positionality, experiential activities aimed at cultivating who are better equipped pressing justice, disparity, public health issues contemporary global evaluation
